Young Gyu Choi took a very sympathetic Prince Guillaume down and was the perfect companion to the star of the evening: Maia Makhateli. Previously she danced all the stars of heaven in Swan Lake by the National Ballet. And now Makhateli showed her class again. A class that is particularly evident in a grace and suppleness which makes it all so easy it seems what she does. While this is of course by no means the case. The only blemish on the evening was the corps de ballet that was not always the same and therefore what looked messy. But when the corps came to unity, it was wonderful to see. Correct these errors show how clever and flawless soloists such as Maia Makhateli (not to mention Young Gyu Choi) do their work. With Cinderella 's National Ballet has an absolute winner in hands that will undoubtedly become a popular and beloved classic.
